Campus Cafe in Alamosa

I ordered the chile burger with green chile. The burger came and the green chile was the same temperature as the lettuce. The hamburger patties were over cooked and dry. The green chile was bland also.

Typically a very nice place to go. today however was a different story we waited over 45 minutes just to get our food. food was good as usual however in my entire lifetime I've only waited this long or longer five times. I will take this as a freak episode and will be back. Priced very affordable.

We stop here every year on our way through town to grab a delicious, homemade breakfast. The waitresses are so kind and down-to-earth, the coffee is always hot and fresh, and the green chili is to die for! If it doesn’t come with your meal, I recommend ordering it on the side as it goes great on nearly everything!

For locals happy with basic coffee and non dairy creamer cups in an aged interior. Fresh homemade bread, including thick raisin bread was the best part, otherwise standard eggs, omelets, hashbrowns. What grandparents are comfortable with from 40 years ago, not updated.

Such a great diner that has been a main part of this city for as long as I can remember. I highly recommend anything that is smothered in their green (or red) chili! And of course their delicious giant cinnamon rolls are awesome.

Great little diner close to Adams State University. Always busy because the food is delicious and prices very reasonable. Breakfast is especially tasty regardless of which entree you choose. Waitresses are fast, efficient, and friendly. Owner is always present at the register. I always stop in one or more times when I visit my son at Adams.

Nice people and great food

Probably the greatest breakfast spot in the SLV. Open early. Lunch and Breakfast these folks have you covered. Closed on Tue. Off the beaten path a real hidden gem. Find the Campus Cafe, try the Alamosa Breakfast the cheese sauce is heavenly. Take a Cinnamon Roll that is as big as your Happy Face to GO!

Loved this local place! Stumbled upon it and was thoroughly impressed! Service was amazing and food was even better yet! It was quite busy upon arrival but the wait was more than worth it! Even with a heavy crowd the service and food quality never faltered. You get a lot of bang for your buck and wont be leaving hungry! Will definitely be back!

Great food, and great atmosphere! It is almost always busy so plan ahead, especially if you have a large group. They have a large table that seats 8 (more if you are willing to get uncomfortable) but everything else is 6 or less. They have central tables that can be community tables, so keep that in mind if you like your privacy. Recommend the eggs alamosa, or their biscuits and gravy plate. Also, the "enough for two" cinnamon roll is a must.

Whenever we go to Alamosa we try and stop in here to eat. A good ol’ “mom and pop” type place. A small little diner with great food and low prices! This restaurant gets very busy very quickly so you may have to wait a bit but it’s worth it especially with the unbeatable prices!

A good breakfast for a great price!

20 years ago Campus Cafe served the best plate of biscuits and gravy in the nation. Mentioned in a book even. Now they are standard IHOP, Denny's, Village Inn ick. Unimpressed all around with the whole meal from the rubbery side of bacon to the buttery centric cinnamon roll to the French toast. However I like supporting local businesses. It has been a standard in town for years and provided food to college students galore. They support the college and high school sports. Glad they are still in business. Try it. You'll be glad you did.

This is the breakfast spot! Homemade giant bread slices and homemade cinnamon buns you won’t want to miss. The prices are great!
